Cub Scout Day Camp
Daily 8:45 AM–3:30 PM. The perfect introduction to summer camp. Younger Scouts work on rank advancement; Webelos and AoL sharpen skills for the next stage. Climb the 40-foot tower, try archery, BB guns, and slingshots, sail the 6-acre lake, and swim in the Olympic-size pool.

An immersive overnight experience built to bridge into Scouts BSA. Scouts work on adventures while strengthening leadership, outdoor skills, and independence — with hands-on challenges and teamwork woven throughout.

Camp Birch's introduction to overnight camp — open to Cub Scouts and a parent, guardian, or family member. Pool, lake, climbing tower, archery, handicraft, and Nature Lodge — plus elective adventures Scouts can repeat year after year.

Tecumseh Council offers camp scholarships of up to one-third the cost of camp to any registered Scout, regardless of family resources. Awards are based on need and must be redeemed by the regular registration deadline.

Quick FAQ
- Can Cub Scouts attend summer camp?
- Yes — Cubs entering 1st–5th grade can attend Day Camp and Overnight Camp. 1st-grade Scouts must be accompanied by a parent or guardian per Scouting America's Guide to Safe Scouting.
- Are parents allowed at summer camp?
- Absolutely. Adult registration for Day Camp is free, and Camp Birch offers $50 in Birch Bucks for each registered required adult attending Webelos & AoL Overnight Camp.
- How does payment work?
- Each camp has an early-bird and a regular registration period — sign up early to save. Scholarships cover up to a third of the cost for families who qualify.
