About the Troop

Scout-led adventure with real responsibility.

Troop 311 is a co-ed Scouts BSA troop welcoming youth ages 11–17 (or 5th-grade graduates). Following the merger of Troop 113 with Troop 311, our troop now provides a single, vibrant home for all scouts in the Springfield area to learn, lead, and grow together.

Our scouts plan and run their own program: monthly campouts, service projects, summer camp, high-adventure treks, and the personal journey toward Eagle Scout. Adult leaders coach from the sidelines — the scouts drive the experience.
