It was a blistery April weekend that saw the final flag ceremony at Gilwell Field as members of Troop 1 took the next steps on their Wood Badge and Scouting journey.

Adult leaders from units throughout Tecumseh Council (including Pack 131) spent two weekends immersed in the life of a Scout. From early beginnings as a wee cub, to crossing over to become a member of a Troop, participants participated in a total of five days of leadership classes, team-building challenges, and spending some good old-fashioned time under the stars.

Members of Troop 1 now begin the journey to "work their ticket" - a series of five self-identified projects completed within 18 months that will help them grow as leaders in their Scouting journeys, and benefit the Scouting units, Councils, and communities they serve.

Good luck Scouters!
