A weekend of spooky fun.
Spook-O-Ree is Tecumseh Council's Halloween weekend for Cub Scouts, and this year we're camping together at Camp Hugh Taylor Birch on Swimming Pool Road. The detailed schedule is below — watch the Group Chat for any additional information or changes. For now, here's the plan:
Costume contest
Come dressed for Halloween — there are usually prizes for the best dressed Scouts (and parents).
Trick-or-treat around camp
Campsite-to-campsite trick-or-treating and candy for the Scouts. Bring a bag!
Fall fun & activities
Halloween-themed games, crafts, and outdoor stations led by the council — plus plenty of time around the fire.
Campfire & campout
We'll camp together as a Pack — skits, songs, and s'mores included.
Timing basics: The Cubmaster will check the Pack in at 5 pm Friday night (arrive between 5 and 8 pm). We will camp Friday and Saturday nights, and pack up Sunday morning. The full weekend schedule will be posted before the event. We are camping with four other Pack's at our campsite (Blue Jacket), so the earlier you arrive the better.
